About Us

Picture
My husband and I came to live in France with our young son, attracted by the peace and tranquillity, beautiful countryside, and gentler pace of living, and it didn't disappoint.

We loved this solid property with it’s slice of history. Built in the 19th century to operate the barrier over the railway line, the railway is now long gone, leaving leafy, tree lined paths, meandering through woods and open countryside.

In this quiet corner of France, we feel truly relaxed. The house is thankfully cool in the summer, and cosy in the winter. We love to stroll along the former tracks, eat mouth wateringly good baguettes from the local bakery, set up the barbecue, or simply sit in the garden with a glass of wine, enjoying the spectacular night skies.
